BATON ROUGE, La. – University of Missouri Track and Field senior Roberto Vilches claimed the Southeastern Conference title in the high jump during the second day of the SEC Outdoor Championships on Friday in Baton Rouge, La.
Vilches cleared a season-best 2.21m (7-3.00) to take the gold.
NOTABLE RESULTS
- Renee Lewis ran a personal-best time of 4:36.90 in the 1500m
- Trevor Peimann placed 10th in the steeplechase with a personal-best time of 9:16.03
- Kaia Downs claimed 10th in the steeplechase with a personal-best time of 10:54.01
- Jack Warner ran a season-best time of 3:52.11 in the 1500m
