
Cross Country Concludes Regular Season at Weis-Crockett Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Cross Country will conclude the 2022 regular season on Saturday morning at the Weis-Crockett Invitational in Stillwater, Okla.
The men's team will run the 8k at 8:30 a.m. with the women's team to follow in the 6k at 9:20 a.m.
The Tigers will be accompanied by 40 other teams in their fourth race this season.
Both the men's and women's teams look to follow up the success from the Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 30. The men's squad earned a seventh-place standing while the women brought in a sixth-place finish.
Senior Marquette Hanson, the team's top finisher in each of his two entrants this season, will headline the list of competitors. Hanson took 15th in the Mizzou XC Opener and claimed 13th in last month's classic.
The men's team also seeks strong performances from freshman Drew Rogers and sophomore Blake Morris, who followed with a pair of top-45 finishes at the Gans Creek Classic.
On the women's side, sophomore Isabelle Christiansen has led the Tigers in all three races this season. Freshman Kaia Downs, sophomore Ginger Murnieks and senior Reilly Revord are also looking to build off their success after earning top-45 finishes in Missouri's previous race.
