COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri baseball (25-17, 7-14 SEC) visits Ole Miss (24-19, 7-14 SEC) for a crucial SEC series at Swayze Field beginning Friday night.
The Tigers and Rebels enter the series as part of a three-way tie for the 12th and final spot in the SEC Tournament. Game one is set for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch on Friday with game two starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The series concludes with a 1:30 p.m. start on Sunday afternoon. All three games of the series will stream on SEC Network +.

SERIES BUSINESS
- Mizzou and Ole Miss meet for the 23rd time on Friday night, with the Rebels holding a narrow 12-10 edge in the all-time series.
- The two clubs are meeting for the first time since 2019 when the Tigers took 2-of-3 in the regular season series before the Rebels claimed a win in Hoover.
- Mizzou is just 4-8 all-time in Oxford, and has not won a series since sweeping a two-game set to open the 1958 season. The Tigers are 1-5 in Oxford during the SEC era.
- Each of the last six games in the series have been decided by three runs or less.
LAST TIME OUT
- Missouri rallied from a Friday night loss to take the series over Mississippi State with a 19-8 win on Saturday and a 7-6 walk-off win on Sunday.
- The Tigers belted 10 homers in the three-game set to pile up 30 runs while hitting .339.
- Luke Mann and Ross Lovich each hit three homers with Lovich producing a team-leading six RBI on the weekend.
- Josh Day provided the walk-off shot on Sunday, taking a breaking ball out to right for an opposite field blast.
- The Tigers came from behind on both Saturday and Sunday, marking the ninth and 10th comeback wins of the season.
- Mizzou continued its solid play with a 9-3 win over SEMO in the midweek as Fox Leum hit a pair of home runs.

- Sophomore Trevor Austin has hit in 13-straight games for Mizzou, continuing a red-hot resurgence at the plate.
- Over the 13-game stretch, Austin is hitting a blistering .413 with nine RBI, four doubles and three homers.
- Austin has scored 12 runs during the streak, crossing home in nine different games.
- The left fielder has walked 10 times over the last 13 games and been hit twice while striking out just six times. His .525 OBP leads the club in the streak.
HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT
- Mizzou sits second in the SEC and 22nd nationally with 75 hit-by-pitches this season.
- Four Tigers have been plunked 10 or more times, led by Torin Montgomery with 15 HBP and Josh Day with 13. Trevor Austin and Luke Mann have been beaned 12 times each to make Mizzou's top four in the order all in double figures.
- The Tigers were hit eight times over the weekend by Mississippi State and five times in the midweek win over SEMO.
RECORD-SETTING SATURDAY
- For the second time in as many seasons, Mizzou set its record for runs scored in an SEC game against Mississippi State.
- The Tigers exploded for 19 runs against the Bulldogs on Saturday, eclipsing their 16-run output from a season ago.
- The 19 runs were the most scored by the Tigers in a conference game since 2008 when Mizzou piled up 22 runs against Big 12 foe Nebraska.

- Ole Miss enters the weekend as part of the three-way tie in the SEC standings alongside Mizzou and Kentucky.
- The Rebels are led offensively by standout Tim Elko, who hits .314 with 17 homers which rank third in the SEC and 11th nationally.
- Jacob Gonzalez bats .287 while adding 14 homers and 37 RBI to the Rebels' potent offense.
- On the mound, Ole Miss owns a 4.85 ERA as a team. Dylan DeLucia leads the rotation on Friday night with a 4.41 ERA in a team-leading 50 innings.
