ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The University of Missouri men's golf team rounded out day one of the SEC Championship in the top-5 teams on the leaderboard, with four individuals in the top-20. The Tigers collectively shot a 2-over 282 team score.
Pacing the team was sophomore standout Jack Lundin who fired a 1-under 69 to claim a piece of 13th place. All three Tigers, Tommy Boone, YuTa Tsai and Jack Parker head into tomorrow tied for 20th after carding a 1-over 71. Both Lundin and Parker shot bogey-free back-nine scores to surge their positions in the final stretch. Charlie Crockett rounded out the group with a 10-over 80.
The men return tomorrow morning for the second round with tee times starting at 7:50 a.m. CT.
