HEAR FROM HEAD COACH PRIESMEYER
"We're really pleased with our first event as a team and to have three individuals set new career-bests, so looking to build off of that. We're going down a day early to get an extra practice round in so that gives us two rounds under our belt. The greens are going to be really important for us and the pars 3s will be challenging. Even though we haven't been able to get outside as much as we would like at this time of year, we have used this indoor time to get back to basics with impact positions with putting & out wedges."
INSIDE THE LINEUP:
SOPHIA YOEMANS – Jr.
Yoemans continues to be a consistent name and headliner of the lineup. At the spring opener, she fired a 3-under 69 to anchor her new career-best 54-hole event score, and first event under-par with a 1-under 215. She continues to lead the team in season scoring average with a 72.4 and just surpassed to lead in birdies as well.
