Track & Field Travels to Razorback Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. — University of Missouri Track & Field heads to its second indoor meet of the spring season as the Tigers head to Fayetteville, Ark., for a two-day contest starting Friday, Jan. 28. Competition at Randal Tyson Track Complex will begin at 2:00 p.m. CT Friday afternoon and conclude the following evening. The invitational will be streamed on SECN+ both Friday and Saturday, and live results will be available at FlashResults.

Competition at Randal Tyson Track Complex will begin at 2:00 p.m. CT Friday afternoon and conclude the following evening. The Razorback Invitational will begin Friday with the men's long jump at 2:00 p.m. and concludes with the women's 4x400 relay Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Graduate student Emily Stauffer (Reinholds, Pa). will participate in the women's weight throw and women's shot put after setting a new personal record of 19.02m (62-5) in the weight throw last Saturday at the Cyclone Open.

Stauffer is among two other women who made it into Mizzou's top-10 indoor record book last weekend. Redshirt senior Savannah Nevels (Streetsboro, Ohio) placed in the top-10 in both the women's 60m and 200m dash with times of 7.71 and 24.91 respectively. Nevels will be competing in both of those events in the Arkansas Invitational. Redshirt senior Melissa Menghini (Fenton, Mo.) set a personal best in the mile with a time of 4:41.70 last weekend, placing her at sixth all-time for the indoor mile. Menghini will compete in that event this weekend.

Junior Mitch Weber (Saint Clair, Minn.) is set to compete in both the men's weight throw and men's shot put in which he placed second in both events last weekend in the Cyclone Open. He's coming off a weekend where he set a personal record of 19.65m (64- 5 ¾) in the men's weight throw.
