2022 Football Schedule Announced

Former conference foe Kansas State highlights non-conference contests.
Columbia, Mo. – Mizzou football's 2022 schedule was announced on Tuesday, in conjunction with SEC Network.
The Tigers' non-conference slate opens with contests at Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 3) and Kansas State (Sept. 10). Mizzou will face Abilene Christian in its home opener on Sept. 17 and will welcome New Mexico State on Nov. 19.
Mizzou and Middle Tennessee State will play for the third time. The Tigers won the 2003 match-up 41-40 in overtime at Faurot Field. The Blue Raiders won the 2016 game, 51-45, also in Columbia.
Mizzou leads the series with Kansas State, 60-32-5. The last meeting between the two teams came during the 2011 season with the Wildcats winning 24-17. The Tigers last defeated Kansas State in 2010, a 38-28 decision in Columbia, Mo.
The games with Abilene Christian and New Mexico State are first-time meetings between the teams. Mizzou will have a bye on October 15.
Mizzou's home conference slate includes Georgia (Oct. 1), Vanderbilt (Oct. 22), Kentucky (Nov. 5) and Arkansas (Nov. 26).
On the road, the Tigers will face Auburn (Sept. 24), Florida (Oct. 8), South Carolina (Oct. 29) and Tennessee (Nov. 12).
