Men's Swimming & Diving Opens Action at NCAA Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Mizzou men's swimming and diving team opened competition at the 2021 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships with a 15th-place finish in the 800 free relay to claim All-America honorable mention accolades Wednesday evening in Greensboro, N.C.
The Tigers earned four points in the race to enter day two action 15th in the team standings.
KEY PERFORMANCES
The Tigers' 800 free relay team of juniors Jack Dahlgren (Victoria, Minn.) and Jack Dubois (Alpharetta, Ga.), senior Grant Reed (Austin, Texas) and freshman Frederik Rindshøj (Søborg, Denmark) clocked a 6:17.97 to place 15th overall in the field and claim honorable mention honors. The time was good enough to rank sixth all-time in Mizzou history.
