PHOENIX – Mizzou Baseball (1-3) completed its season-opening series at Grand Canyon, dropping the final game of the trip 10-2, Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers' runs came on a single swing from redshirt senior Brandt Belk, hitting a two-run homer in the fifth inning. Mizzou used eight pitchers in the contest, highlighted by freshman Ian Lohse, who pitched 2.1 innings in relief.

Mizzou will return home to open its home schedule with a four-game series against Nebraska-Omaha beginning Friday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. CT. The first game of the Saturday double-header is at noon, to be followed by the second game. The final game will be at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.
