QUOTABLES
Mizzou Head Coach Andrew Grevers
"The Tigers had a great first night. We had a lot of positive energy out there in the stands. Both relays tonight improved on their seed times and swam their hearts out. I'm pleased with the second-place result in the 200 medley relay, and our 800 free relay improved its seed time by six seconds, which was great. The results were good but I was even more pleased with the energy the whole team brought tonight. It was a lot of fun to hear our athletes up in the stands cheering, I'm pretty sure we were the loudest team tonight."
Mizzou Diving Coach Kyle Bogner
"It's a great way to start off the meet. Sarah was super consistent both in prelims and finals. In general we get a little bit better as we get to the higher boards so I'm looking forward to the next three days to see how the women progress and how the men start off tomorrow."
