COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Women's Basketball returns to Mizzou Arena as the Tigers host the final exhibition of the season before the regular season on Thursday, November 4 at 7 p.m. against Southwest Baptist.

WHAT'S AHEAD
The Tigers host Southwest Baptist in the final exhibition of the 2021-22 season. Mizzou will then begin the regular season on Thursday, Nov. 11 against Murray State.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Last season Mizzou finished with an overall record of 9-13 and 5-9 in SEC play. The Tigers accepted an invitation to the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT), falling to Fresno State and Arizona State. Mizzou returns nine players from a year ago to go along with five newcomers. The Tigers last season scored 73.1 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field.
DANGEROUS FROM THREE
Last season Mizzou shot a staggering 38.2 percent from behind the three-point line, the highest mark in program history. The Tigers had six players with double-digit three's led by junior Hayley Frank with 37.
BLACKWELL EARNS PRESEASON SECOND TEAM ALL-SEC HONORS
Junior guard Aijha Blackwell earned Preseason Second Team All-SEC honors as voted on by the league's coaches. In her highly impressive sophomore campaign Blackwell averaged 14.5 points and 11.0 rebounds to earn Second Team All-SEC honors. Blackwell became just the fifth player in school history to average a double-double and the first since 1997-98.
ALWAYS ON THE COURT
Senior guard Haley Troup has logged plenty of minutes during her career as a Tiger. Last season Troup played over 20 minutes in 20 of the 22 games played and had 12 games with over 30 minutes played.
OH MAMA
Sophomore guard Mama Dembele looks to build of her impressive freshman campaign that earned her All-SEC Freshman Team honors by averaging 3.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Her 35 steals and 59 assists ranked ninth and 10th, respectively, all-time among Mizzou freshman.
TOUGH NON-CONFERENCE
The 2021-22 non-conference schedule features five teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season. Of the 12 non-conference opponents, nine had a winning record with four teams winning 20-plus games. The Tigers will be tested early and often highlighted by contests against Missouri State, Baylor and Illinois.
