COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Soccer will play host to ranked foe BYU at 7 p.m. CT, Wednesday. The two programs have never met.
Last time out, the Tigers captured a shutout victory over Creighton. The game was scoreless through the first 70 minutes before junior forward Julissa Cisneros was able to put the ball in the lower-right corner for the game winner. Jadyn Easley broke the ball free and tapped it over to Cisneros for the assist. Julissa Cisneros moved into the Top-10 of Mizzou's career goals list with the game-winner.
Goalkeeper Isabella Alessio earned her first shutout as a Mizzou Tiger in the victory. She turned away three Creighton shots on goal in the contest.
The last time Mizzou faced a ranked opponent at home, the Tigers defeated then-No. 13 Vanderbilt 2-1 (10/3/20). Vanderbilt went on to capture the SEC tournament crown.
