MIzzou Sends Seven Wrestlers to Second Round of NCAAs

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Mizzou sent seven of its ten qualifiers to the second round. Freshman Keegan O'Toole (167) and redshirt sophomore Jeremiah Kent (184) won by dominant pins. Junior Brock Mauller (149), redshirt sophomore Peyton Mocco (174) and redshirt sophomore Zach Elam (HWT) won by major decisions. Redshirt junior Matt Schmitt (133) and redshirt junior Allan Hart (141) picked up wins.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Mizzou sent seven of its ten qualifiers to the second round. Freshman Keegan O'Toole (167) and redshirt sophomore Jeremiah Kent (184) won by dominant pins. Junior Brock Mauller (149), redshirt sophomore Peyton Mocco (174) and redshirt sophomore Zach Elam (HWT) won by major decisions. Redshirt junior Matt Schmitt (133) and redshirt junior Allan Hart (141) picked up wins.

With five of its seven victories coming off of bonus points, Mizzou sits in third place after the first round. Below are the team standings after the first round:
