Tiger RHP has continually shined in community since arriving to Mid-Missouri
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball senior RHP Spencer Juergens was named to the 2020 Southeastern Conference Baseball Community Service Team, announced Monday by the league office.
The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his/her community through superior service efforts.
Juergens, who transferred to Mizzou in 2019, paces all current Tigers on the roster with 68 career community service hours accumulated. Nearly 58 of those hours occurred in the recent 2019-20 school year at the University of Missouri.
