COLUMBIA, Mo. – Tiger fans, mark your calendars for the evening of Friday, April 10, for a special event celebrating Mizzou Football. The GP M.A.D.E. Foundation, established by former Head Coach Gary Pinkel to benefit various children's and local charitable organizations, will host former MU Heisman Finalist quarterback Chase Daniel in a special fundraiser event that is open to the public.
An Evening with Chase Daniel and Gary Pinkel, presented by Mizzou Athletics and the GP M.A.D.E. Foundation, will feature a special fireside chat between Pinkel, Daniel and the Voice of the Tigers, Mike Kelly, as they reminisce about their time together from 2005-08 when the Tigers emerged as one of the nation's winningest programs.
The main event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Show-Me Club at Memorial Stadium, located on the second floor of the new South End Zone facility. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the GP M.A.D.E. Foundation, as well as the Tiger Scholarship Fund. Tickets can be purchased for $250 to the public event, with food and beverages (two drink tickets) included as part of the ticket price.
Prior to the main event, a VIP meet-and-greet event will be held in the Bunker Club (located on at field level in the South End Zone facility), with the opportunity to meet and take photos with Pinkel, who retired in 2015 as the winningest coach in MU history, and Daniel, who finished fourth in the 2007 Heisman Trophy balloting, and who just completed his 11th year in the National Football League. Tickets for the VIP function, which begins at 6 p.m., are available for $500, with food, beverages, and a commemorative autographed gift included. Ticket holders for the VIP event will also have reserved seating for the main event held in the Show-Me Club.
