COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou gymnastics team will have six nationally televised meets in 2021, the Southeastern Conference and ESPN announced on Tuesday (Dec. 8). The TV lineup features five regular season meets and the 2021 SEC Championship.
Mizzou and Georgia kickoff the SEC Network's 2021 Friday Night Heights schedule on Friday, Jan. 8 with a 6 p.m. CT meet in Athens, Ga.
The Tigers then return to SEC Network for consecutive meets in late January, as the home meet against Kentucky (Jan. 22) and an away contest at Florida (Jan. 29) will both be aired live on the network at 6 p.m. CT.
The Feb. 12 and Feb. 19 meets against Auburn and Arkansas will also air live on SEC Network. Mizzou takes on Auburn at 8 p.m. CT on the 12th at the Hearnes Center and travels to Fayetteville, Ark., to take on Arkansas on Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. CT.
Mizzou's three regular season meets not picked up for TV, Jan. 15 against Alabama, Feb. 26 against Georgia and March 5 at LSU, will all broadcast live on SEC Network +.
For the sixth consecutive year, the SEC Gymnastics Championship will be telecast live, with the 2021 edition airing exclusively on SEC Network. Coverage of the afternoon session starts at 2:30 p.m. CT with the evening session beginning at 7 p.m. CT.
