COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou men's and women's swimming and diving teams kick off the 2020-21 seasons on Friday, Oct. 16 when the teams host TCU at 10 a.m. at the Mizzou Aquatic Center. The meet will be streamed live on SEC Network +, with live results available on Meet Mobile and DiveMeets.com. The event will not be open to fans.
Last season, Mizzou was ranked No. 7 on the men's side and No. 20 on the women's side in the final regular season TYR / CSCAA Division I polls before the Southeastern Conference Championships. The Tigers had seven men and six women earn individual NCAA Championships before the events were canceled due to COVID-19.
The 2020-21 Tigers, led by head coach Andrew Grevers, return seven Tigers who qualified for NCAAs a season ago, including senior Sarah Thompson, juniors Jack Dahlgren, Megan Keil and Danny Kovac and sophomores Carlo Lopez, Meredith Rees and Savana Trueb.
TCU posted identical men's and women's third-place finishes at the 2020 Big 12 Conference Championships, the highest finish for the women's program since 2013. Friday marks only the second dual meet between the Tigers and Horned Frogs, and the first since 1984.
