COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball has added transfer OH Anna Dixon to its 2020 roster, announced Tuesday by head coach Joshua Taylor. Dixon will join the Tigers this spring as a true sophomore after spending 2019 at Kansas State University.
"We're so excited to have Anna join our roster, as she'll jump right into spring ball in a couple months," said Taylor. "Anna perfectly fits the culture that we're cultivating here at Mizzou. She works hard, cares for those around her and is also an incredible volleyball player. Anna will be building upon our already high-powered offense and we expect her to come in and make an immediate impact for us."
This past summer prior to her collegiate debut at Kansas State, Dixon was one of 12 members on the 2019 USA Volleyball Women's Junior National Team. She competed at the 2019 FIVB U-20 World Championship for Team USA, registering 15 kills, four digs, two total blocks and one ace over eight matches.
"I'm really looking forward to my time at Mizzou," said Dixon. "The competitive atmosphere, coaching staff and team culture attracted me to this program. I'm excited about the future for Mizzou Volleyball and what we can do this upcoming season!"
