
Mizzou Volleyball Adds Transfer Erin Williamson to 2020 Roster

Williamson spent last two campaigns at University of Arizona
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball has added transfer DS Erin Williamson to its 2020 roster, announced Thursday by head coach Joshua Taylor. Williamson will join the Tigers this spring as a redshirt sophomore after spending the 2018-19 campaigns at the University of Arizona.
"We're really excited to have Erin on our roster," said Taylor. "She does some great things on the court and her personality and character are all things that make us better as a program!"
"I'm super excited for this new chapter at Mizzou," said Williamson. "I can tell this is where I'm meant to be. I can't wait to see what the future holds in Columbia. Go Tigers!"

Following a NCAA redshirt first-year campaign in 2018, Williamson appeared in 14 matches a season ago for the Wildcats. Across 35 sets played, she tallied two aces and six digs.
Prior to beginning her collegiate career in Tucson, Arizona, Williamson starred for Johns Creek High School in Atlanta. She was a four-year varsity letterwinner under head coach Kirk Call, earning 2017 Georgia all-state honors as a senior. Williamson also garnered first team all-conference accolades in 2017 and 2016.
Across 447 sets played in her four-year career at Johns Creek, Williamson recorded 1,891 digs (4.2 per set), 185 assists and 117 aces.
