The meet will feature a handful of ranked squads on the men's side as LSU (#2), Texas (#4), Florida (#7), Arkansas (#15) and Oregon (#17) will all be in action. Mizzou is currently ranked No. 24 in the country. On the women's side, seven top-25 squads will be in action on Friday and Saturday including SEC foes Georgia (#2), Arkansas (#3), LSU (#6) and Florida (#11)

The Tigers resume action this weekend after posting eight first-place finishes at the Texas Aggie Invitational last Saturday. Mizzou earned victories in both the men's and women's weight throw as redshirt seniors Patrick Kunza (Wentzville, Mo.) and Jordan McClendon (Black Jack, Mo.) both earned top spots. The pair will both be back in action on Friday.

Mizzou will deploy a number of distance runners this weekend who had success at Texas A&M. Redshirt senior Thomas George (Gloucester, England) will compete in the 3000m run after cruising to victory in the mile on Saturday. George set a personal record with a time of 4:05.83. Meanwhile, sophomore Kieran Wood (Cambridge, England) will make his first appearance of the season by competing in the 3000m run. Wood currently holds the Mizzou school record in the 3000m after posting a time of 8:01.77 in the Iowa State Classic last February.  On the women's side, redshirt junior Melissa Menghini (Fenton, Mo.) and junior Sarah Chapman (Maidenhead, England) will both run the mile after finishing first and second in the 3000m last weekend, respectively. The pair will also compete in the women's 4000m DMR.
