Fall Rewind: Newcomer Noelle Beijer Leads the Way

The junior excelled in her first semester at MU, as she led the team with a 71.93 stroke average in 14 rounds, which ranked her 10th in the SEC.

Continuing a look back at the 2019 fall season, one of the highlights was undoubtedly the play of newcomer Noelle Beijer.  A transfer from Florida Tech, where she helped lead her team to the NCAA Division II national championship, Beijer came in and contributed immediately for the Tigers.  The junior excelled in her first semester at MU, as she led the team with a 71.93 stroke average in 14 rounds, which ranked her 10th in the SEC.

Ten of Beijer's 14 rounds in the fall were par or better, including a fall-best four-under 68 in the opening-round of the Jim West Challenge.  Beijer led Mizzou in three-of-five fall tournaments, and was second-best on the squad in the other two outings.  She also led the team with two top-10 finishes, including a third-place finish in the Johnie Imes Invitational, with a five-under 211 total over three days (69-71-71).
