COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Track and Field hits the road for the first time in 2020 for the Aggie Invitational hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. After posting three new program top-10 marks through a pair of home meets, the Tigers head south to begin the bulk of the indoor schedule.

The action will get underway at the McFerrin Athletic Center at 12:45pm CT on Saturday with both track and field events beginning. The meet will feature six men's squads and five women's teams including Texas A&M, Baylor, Texas Southern, Monterrey Tech and UTRGV. Live results will be available on flashresults.com and the meet will be broadcasted online on watchESPN.

On the track, the Tigers will be led by a number of top performers from last week's Missouri Intercollegiate. Junior Nylo Clarke (Riverside, Mo.) will compete in the 60m dash after winning the event twice so far this season. Clarke moved into fourth place all-time in program history with a time of 6.74 at the Mizzou Holiday Opener in early December. On the women's side, junior Michaela Hackbarth (Downers Grove, Ill.) will lead a group of three Tigers in the 800m run. Hackbarth won the 600m last week in Columbia.

Mizzou's 2019 Cross Country standouts will be in action for the first time this season as junior Sarah Chapman (Maidenhead, England) and senior Thomas George (Gloucester, England) will both compete on Saturday. After appearing in the NCAA Cross Country National Championships in November, George will run in the mile in College Station while Chapman will compete in the 3000m run.

The women's weight throw will be highlighted by redshirt senior All-American Jordan McClendon (Black Jack, Mo.), who has finished first in both of her appearances this season so far. McClendon won the weight throw last Friday at the Hearnes Center with a mark of 20.10m (65-11.5).

Mizzou indoor high jump record-holder Roberto Vilches (Mexico City, Mexico) will compete in the high jump after winning the event last week. Vilches posted a mark of 2.22m (7-3.25) and will continue his 2020 campaign after earning All-American honors as a freshman last season and logging a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships last February. Redshirt junior Ja'Mari Ward (Cahokia, Ill.) also saw success on the national stage last year and was the USA Outdoor Champion in the long jump at the USATF Outdoor Championships. He will compete in the long jump on Saturday.

To wrap up the field events, three Mizzou women will compete in the triple jump. After freshman Mara Hausler (Stralsund, Germany) recorded an incredible performance in the Mizzou Holiday Opener by moving into second-place in the Mizzou indoor record books, sophomore Arianna Fisher (San Jose, Calif.) won the event last week at the Missouri Intercollegiate. The pair will be in action on Saturday afternoon along with freshman Euphenie Andre (Dover Plains, N.Y.).
