
@MizzouFootball Picked Third in SEC East, Five Land on All-SEC Preseason Teams

TE Okwuegbunam (first team), OL Wallace-Simms and LB Garret (second team), CB Acy and RB Rountree (third team) round out Mizzou’s All-SEC picks
COLUMBIA, Mo. – With this week's SEC Media Days drawing to a close last night, the SEC unveiled its annual media preseason picks Friday (July 19) and Mizzou was selected to finish third in the SEC East, behind only Georgia and Florida, while five players landed on the Preseason All-SEC Team. RS junior TE Albert Okwuegbunam is a first-team selection while OL Tre'Vour Wallace-Simms and LB Cale Garrett earned second-team distinction. Rounding out Mizzou's selections on the third team are CB DeMarkus Acy and RB Larry Rountree.
The SEC's preseason predicted order of finish and the Preseason All-SEC Teams are included below.
