THE MEET
- Mizzou Track & Field will conclude the 2019 outdoor season at the NCAA Outdoor Track & FIeld Championships, June 5-8 in Austin, Texas. Mizzou will have six entries, two each day, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. ESPN will provide coverage for the entire meet, and live results will be available on flashresults.com.

- Mizzou Track & Field redshirt senior Gabi Jacobs will wrap up her historic Mizzou career on Saturday in the discus. Jacobs is the only Mizzou athlete to ever record multiple NCAA All-America honors in the discus, as she has finished fifth in the event in back-to-back seasons in 2017 and 2018. Her fifth-place performances are also the highest NCAA discus finishes in Mizzou history for females.
- At the SEC Outdoor Championships, Jacobs repeated as the SEC discus champion for the third consecutive season, as she became the first athlete in Mizzou history and third in SEC history to win three straight discus conference titles. The Tiger senior has held the discus school record since her sophomore campaign, and reset her own personal-best mark at the Herm Wilson Invitational (March 23) with a throw of 60.25m (197-8), a mark which ranks sixth in the NCAA this season.

- Freshman Roberto Vilches, a highly-touted prospect out of Mexico City, has been nothing short of spectacular in his first season for Mizzou. Vilches enters his first NCAA Outdoor Championships with the nation's top mark in the high jump at 2.27m (7-5.25). The Tiger freshman's clearance at the Mizzou Spring Open was good enough to vault him to No. 2 on Mizzou's all-time top-10 list, and earned him SEC Field Athlete of the Week honors. Vilches has cleared seven-feet in each of his five meets this season and placed fifth at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a jump of 2.21m (7-3).
- During the indoor season, Vilches earned NCAA All-America Second Team honors after finishing 15th at the NCAA Indoor Championships. He also broke Mizzou's oldest school record at the Missouri Intercollegiate (Jan. 11), as Vilches broke Nat Page's 1977 high jump school record with a mark 2.26m (7-5). Vilches finished fifth in the long jump at the SEC Indoor Championships with a clearance of 2.22m (7-3.25).

- Redshirt sophomore Sophia Rivera is set to make her NCAA Outdoor Championships debut in the javelin on Thursday. In her first season in the Black & Gold after transferring from Wisconsin, Rivera has had a breakout season in the javelin, earning All-SEC Second Team honors and setting the Mizzou school record.
- Rivera set the school record holder at the John McDonnell Invitational with a mark of 55.73m/182-10 and finished second in the javelin at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 54.22m (177-11). Her season-best mark currently ranks seventh in the NCAA this season. Rivera also competed in the discus during the season, as she earned a bronze medal at the SEC Outdoor Championships (52.56m/172-5) and set the No. 3 mark in Mizzou history (55.75m/182-11).

- Freshman Mirieli Santos will close her highly impressive freshman campaign in the triple jump on Saturday. Santos was the top freshman finisher in the triple jump at the SEC Outdoor Championships, earning a spot on the All-SEC Freshman team with a mark of 13.13m (43-1) to finish seventh and reset Mizzou's school record. She originally set Mizzou's school record at the Tom Botts Invitational (April 20) with a mark of 13.01m (42-8.25). During the indoor season, Santos earned NCAA All-America honors with an 11th-place finish in the triple jump at 12.88m (42-3.25) in the NCAA Indoor Championships. With the performance, Santos became the first female Mizzou athlete to earn an All-America honor in the triple jump, indoor or outdoor. Santos set the indoor triple jump school record and finished eighth at the SEC Indoor Championships with a mark of 13.21m (43-4.25).

- Mizzou freshman Georgi Nachev earned a trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships after producing a mark of 15.71m (51-6.25) at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships. Nachev finished 10th in Sacramento to punch his ticket to Austin.
- Nachev earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team at the SEC Outdoor Championships after finishing fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 15.84m (51-11.75). His personal best mark ranks seventh all-time in Mizzou history.

- Senior Becky Keating qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw following a 12th-place finish at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships with a throw of 61.50m (201-9). Keating will be making her first appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships after qualifying for the NCAA West Preliminary in the hammer throw in the last two seasons (2017-18).
- Keating earned a fourth-place finish in the hammer throw at the SEC Outdoor Championships, as she produced a mark of 61.50m (201-9). Her personal-best mark of 63.87m (209-6) currently ranks third all-time in Mizzou history.
