
@MizzouMensGolf's Stewart Wraps Up Campaign at NCAA Louisville Regional

Stewart was the first Mizzou NCAA individual qualifier since 2012
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky - Mizzou Men's Golf standout sophomore Jamie Stewart wrapped up play the 2019 NCAA Louisville Regional on Wednesday, concluding his campaign. Stewart faced off against 75 competitors at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Kentucky from May 13-15.
Stewart fired a 1-over 72 on day one at the Par 71 course, and sat tied for 26th through 18 holes. The sophomore battled to card a 3-over 74 on Tuesday and a 7-over 78 on Wednesday to finish at 11-over par for the tournament (224).
Stewart tied for 55th overall at the Louisville Regional. He racked up 39 total pars, which was tied for third-most among all competitors in the field.
Stewart was just the ninth Mizzou individual NCAA qualifier in program history, and the first since 2012. He finished his sophomore campaign with an impressive 21 rounds under par, firing under par in seven of 12 total events. He placed outside the Top 20 individually at just one tournament during the entire regular season.
