@MizzouTennis Concludes Home Schedule This Weekend With Trio of Matches

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou tennis team concludes the home portion of its schedule with a trio of matches at the Mizzou Tennis Complex this weekend. The Tigers get started with their Pink Out match on Friday, April 5 against No. 17 Tennessee at 5 p.m. Missouri then hosts No. 1 Georgia on Sunday, April 7 at Noon and Western Illinois later that afternoon at 4 p.m. Admission to all matches is free.
The first 40 fans in attendance to Friday's match against the Volunteers will receive free pizza and free t-shirts.
Mizzou went 2-2 last week with a pair of 4-0 sweeps over Savannah State on March 26 and losses to Mississippi State (4-2) and Ole Miss (4-0) over the weekend.
Tennessee enters Friday's match with a 16-5 overall record and a 6-3 mark in Southeastern Conference action. The Vols are in the midst of a four-match winning streak against SEC foes Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn and Alabama.
Georgia is the No. 1 team in the nation with a perfect 17-0 mark. Western Illinois is 4-8 on the season and claimed a 4-3 win over Omaha the last time out.
Mizzou concludes the regular season next weekend with road matches at Auburn and Alabama. The Tigers take on Auburn on Friday, April 12 at 2 p.m. before a 1 p.m. match at Alabama on Sunday, April 14.
