ARGYLE, TEXAS - The Mizzou Women's Golf Team concluded its 2018-19 regular season with the final round of play Tuesday at The Bruzzy Challenge, hosted by North Texas at Lantana Golf Club. The Tigers began the day tied for 14th in the team standings, and worked their way up one spot on Tuesday with a team round of 299 to finish 13th overall (300-297-299 = 896).
The Tigers were led by their senior class, making their final regular-season appearances, as Amanda Kim (O'Fallon, Mo.), Emma Allen (Southampton, England) and Cayce Hendrickson (Benton, Ky.) finished 1-2-3 in the lineup. Kim continued her outstanding spring, as she tied for 36th overall with a 54-hole 220 total (+4), and she moved up 18 spots on the leaderboard Tuesday, with an even-par 72 thanks to five birdies on her card. Her one-over par final round 73 featured a trio of birdies on the day. Hendrickson tied for 64th overall with a 228 total (74-75-79), finishing 12-over for the tournament.
Junior Cherise Otter (Bloomington, Ind.) returned to the lineup for the first time this spring after missing the previous four outings due to a wrist injury. She finished tied for 69th thanks to rounds of 74-80-77 for a 231 total for 54 holes. True freshman Keagan Dunn (Braselton, Ga.) turned in a sizzling finish on Tuesday, ending her round in birdie-eagle fashion to shoot a final-round 77 that also put her in a tie for 69th at 231 (78-76-77).
A pair of Tigers played in the tournament as individuals, and senior Mackenzie Perez (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) and Julia Bower (Columbia, Mo.) finished 76th and tied for 77th, respectfully.
