@MizzouAthletics Honors Top Performers at Annual ROARS Awards

Andrew Grevers is Mizzou Coach of the Year; Cunningham and Lewis take home top athlete awards
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Athletics handed it some hardware at its annual ROARS Awards, hosted by the school's Mizzou Made Department, which specializes in academics and student-athlete development. Notable award winners from Monday's ceremony were Women's Basketball standout Sophie Cunningham and Mizzou Wrestling's Daniel Lewis, who earned the Female and Male Athlete of the Year awards, respectively. Interim Swimming & Diving Head Coach Andrew Grevers took home the Coach of the Year Award.

- Male For the Love of the Game: Trevor Mallett - Baseball
- Female For the Love of the Game: Izzy Coulter – Soccer
- Community Service Award: Men's Basketball
- Male Highlight of the Year: Kieran Wood – Track and Field
- Female Highlight of the Year: Gabi Jacobs – Track and Field
- Mizzou Made Staff Award: Alex Williams
- Female Mizzou Letterwinners Student-Athlete of the Year: Michaelee Turner – Gymnastics
- Male Mizzou Letterwinners Student-Athlete of the Year: Jacob Trump – Football
- Female Rookie of the Year: Akira Levy – Basketball
- Male Rookie of the Year: Roberto Vilches – Track and Field
- Female Dr. Judy Wells Academic Achievement Award: Cosette Tomita – Softball
- Male Dr. Judy Wells Academic Achievement Award: Tyree Gillespie – Football
- Professor of the Year: Luiza DeSouza
- Male Heather Morris Courage Award: Cade Bormet – Baseball
- Female Heather Morris Courage Award: Kara Decker – Softball
- Mr. and Ms. Mizzou Made: Gabi Jacobs – Track and Field, Daniel Hein – Swimming
