
Mizzou Soccer's Julissa Cisneros to Rejoin Mexico's U20 National Team

Cisneros just wrapped up her sophomore season; previously was called up to the U20 training camp in July
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Soccer's Julissa Cisneros (Moreno Valley, Calif.) has been called up to Mexico's U20 National Team, the association announced today. Cisneros previously spent time with the U20 national team at their training camp this summer.
Cisneros wrapped up a dominant sophomore season this fall for Mizzou Soccer, leading the team with 11 goals and 23 points. Her goal output is the ninth-most in a single season in program history, and the most scored by a Tiger since 2009.
The 5-foot-3 forward appeared in all 18 contests, while making 14 starts on the year. She became the first Mizzou Soccer player to score a hat trick in 16 years, doing so against Ohio State, Aug. 25, while adding a brace in the season finale against Mississippi State, Oct. 31.
Through two seasons in Mid-Missouri, Cisneros has scored 16 goals and contributed 34 points.
