COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball junior Kylie Deberg and redshirt senior Riley Sents were named to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District Volleyball Team, announced Thursday by the organization.
Deberg and Sents become Mizzou's eighth and ninth all-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selections. They are the first Tigers to garner the accolade since 2014.
"This is a big honor for Kylie and Riley and we're so proud of their hard work in the classroom," said Mizzou Volleyball interim head coach Joshua Taylor. "Being a student-athlete is like a full-time job and they both do amazing work of balancing their academic, athletic and personal lives. They are fantastic representatives of the University of Missouri and we're lucky to have them in our program!"

Deberg and Sents were each tabbed First-Team honorees and will now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-Team, Second-Team and Third-Team CoSIDA Academic All-America selections will be announced in early December.
The Tiger duo were two of nine individuals selected to the NCAA Division I – District Six list, which is comprised of candidates from the states of Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
The CoSIDA Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
