COLUMBIA, Mo. - Fans of the Mizzou gymnastics team will get their first look at the 2018 squad on Sunday, Dec. 9 at the annual Black and Gold Meet at approximately p.m. at the Hearnes Center. The gymnasts will compete following Mizzou wresting's dual against SIU-Edwardsville. Admission to Black and Gold is free, however fans who arrive early to watch wrestling will need to purchase tickets. The team will sign autographs following the meet.

The event serves as an exhibition meet, with the Tigers running through lineups and routines on all four events beginning on vault and rotating to bars, beam and floor. A judge will score the performances as they would in a regular-season competition. Additionally, a panel of three guest judges will help award scores on the routines.

The Tigers officially open the 2019 season when the squad travels to Tempe, Ariz., to face host Arizona State, as well as Minnesota and UIC. Mizzou returns to Columbia for the Beauty and the Beast event on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m., where the gymnasts face off against Auburn and the wrestling team faces Central Michigan. That event will be held at Mizzou Arena.

Season tickets are on sale for $30 for adults and $20 for youth and seniors (55+). Fans wishing to purchase season tickets can contact the Missouri athletic ticket office by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS or email tickets@missouri.edu.
