No. 6 Tiger Style Hosts Buffalo Sunday at Noon

COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 6 Mizzou Wrestling looks to extend its 24-match win streak as MAC opponent Buffalo comes to the Hearnes Center for a 12 p.m. dual. Mizzou is fresh off a 48-0 win over SIU-Edwardsville in its second MAC dual of the season last Sunday looks for its 11th straight dual win in MAC competition. COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 6 Mizzou Wrestling looks to extend its 24-match win streak as MAC opponent Buffalo comes to the Hearnes Center for a 12 p.m. dual. Mizzou is fresh off a 48-0 win over SIU-Edwardsville in its second MAC dual of the season last Sunday looks for its 11th straight dual win in MAC competition. On the year, Mizzou is 4-0 in dual competition (2-0 MAC) with an average score of 34.8-4.8, winning the duals by an average of 30 points as Brian Smith's team has been dominant early in the season. Buffalo, which has one its strongest teams in recent memory, coming to Mizzou with a 5-2 overall record. Buffalo has already wrestled one nationally-ranked team this season, opening at No. 21 Wisconsin, falling in that dual, 25-12.

Mizzou defeated Buffalo last season, 37-6, picking up five bonus-point wins during the dual. Both Jaydin Eierman (141) and Daniel Lewis (174) picked up falls in last year's dual and both are slated to wrestle again this season. Connor Flynn also tallied a pin a year ago and he will wrestle again at 165 against the Bulls Sunday. Coach Smith will send three true freshmen to the mat Sunday.
