Twenty-Six Tigers Set to Swim at Phillips 66 National Championships

IRVINE, Calif. - A total of 26 current, future and former members of the Mizzou men's and women's swimming teams will compete at the 2018 Phillips 66 National Championships, held July 25-29 at the William Woollett, Jr., Aquatic Center in Irvine, Calif. The Phillip 66 National Championships will serve as a qualifier for the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships, the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, the 2019 Pan American Championships and the 2019 FINA World Championships.

IRVINE, Calif. - A total of 26 current, future and former members of the Mizzou men's and women's swimming teams will compete at the 2018 Phillips 66 National Championships, held July 25-29 at the William Woollett, Jr., Aquatic Center in Irvine, Calif. The Phillip 66 National Championships will serve as a qualifier for the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships, the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, the 2019 Pan American Championships and the 2019 FINA World Championships.

Competing at the meet are current Tigers Nick Alexander, Sam Coffman, Kylie Dahlgren, Courtney Evensen, Carter Grimes, Daniel Hein, Caleb Hicks, Haley Hynes, Luke Mankus, Jordan O'Brien, Annie Ochitwa, Sammie Jo Porter, Lauren Savoy, Griffin Schaetzle, Micah Slaton, Amanda Smith, Emily Snyder, Devan Sweeney, Alex Walton and Jacob Wielinski. Additionally, former Tigers Michael Chadwick, Erin Metzger-Seymour and Kira Zubar, as well as incoming freshman Jack Dahlgren, Dane Florea and Danny Kovac, will also swim at the Championships.

Preliminary action will begin at 11 a.m. CT, while the finals will start at 8 p.m. CT. The meet will be televised on the Olympic Channel, NBCSN and NBC, in addition to being streamed through usaswimming.org.
