COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Softball has added a late-season doubleheader to its schedule, as Arkansas-Pine Bluff will visit Mizzou Softball Stadium Saturday (April 28), announced Thursday by interim head coach Gina Fogue.
Game one is set for noon CT with game two tentatively scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT. Both matchups will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN.
In a corresponding schedule move, Mizzou's originally scheduled doubleheader next Wednesday (May 2) at Wichita State has been cancelled. An open date became available for the Tigers after their series finale vs. No. 8 Auburn earlier this month was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Saturday will mark the first-ever meeting between Mizzou and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Golden Lions are a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and finished their regular season in second place in their respective division. Arkansas-Pine Bluff will enter Saturday's doubleheader with a 15-25 overall record and 12-8 mark in SWAC play.
