
Stevens Becomes 10th-Fastest U.S. Women's 100 Back Performer

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Junior Hannah Stevens (Lexington, Ohio) of the Missouri women's swimming team became the 10th-fastest U.S. woman in 100m backstroke history over the weekend. Stevens also clocked the fifth-fastest 100 back time in the world this year.
Stevens clocked a time of 59.40 in the 100m back at the UMiz Invite on Saturday to move her into the top five in the world this season and the top 10 all-time among U.S. female backstrokers. She swept both the 100m and 200m back (2:10.91) events at the UMiz Invite and she was one of 10 Tigers or former Tigers who earned wins at the meet.
