COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Softball inked eight student-athletes to National Letters of Intent, announced Tuesday (Nov. 14) by head coach Ehren Earleywine. The future Tigers are scheduled to debut beginning with the 2019 campaign.
Alexis Burks (Columbia, Mo.), Caitlin Fogue (Columbia, Mo.), Danielle Garrison (Missouri City, Texas), Sydney McKinney (Norborne, Mo.), Miah Mitchell (Chester, Ill.), Emma Raabe (Omaha, Neb.), Jazmyn Rollin (Salt Lake City, Utah) and Geana Torres (Rochester, N.H.) will provide Coach Earleywine depth and a plethora of talent to the Tigers' future.
"We're excited about these ladies becoming a part of our team beginning next fall," Coach Earleywine said. "With a strong nucleus returning for the 2019 campaign, they will add talent and depth at several key positions. A couple of which could make an immediate impact for us. We thank and welcome each player and family to our program and look forward to having them on board!"

2017 Second Team All-District … 2016 First Team All-District … Lettered all four years at Rock Bridge High School … Earned starting nod for varsity team as a freshman … Won "Top Bruin" award two times throughout her high school career … Chose Mizzou over Central Missouri, Midland University, Rockhurst and Westminster.
"Growing up in Columbia, Mo., I have always been a huge Mizzou supporter and I've always wanted to play for Coach Earleywine. Also, being a Division I Southeastern Conference program, it all just felt like home."

2017 First Team All-District … 2017 Second Team All-Region … 2016 Second Team All-District … Hit .504 over her 2016 junior campaign at Hickman High School … Led the team in hits, triples and RBIs that season … Chose Mizzou over Southeast Missouri State, University of Detroit and Westminster.
"I picked Mizzou because it was always my dream school and people always told me that I wasn't good enough to go there. I worked hard on the field and in the weight room to achieve that goal. Columbia, Mo., is my hometown, so going to Mizzou is going to be a cool experience. I'm excited to see what the future holds and I can't wait to be a Tiger!"

In junior season at Ridge Point High School, keyed the team to a 29-5 record and Region III District 20-6A State Championship … Hit .327 with 38 runs scored over squad's championship run … Went perfect 16 for 16 in stolen bases … Named to First Team All-District following the successful year … Hit .412 with 32 runs scored and 24 RBIs in sophomore campaign … Tallied Second Team All-District honors … With Impact Gold club team, hit .633 with 16 stolen bases in Spring 2017 season … Older sister, Gabby, is a sophomore for Mizzou Softball … Chose Mizzou over Kansas.
"I've always wanted to study at a good university and play softball at a great Division I program against the toughest competition. Mizzou offered both opportunities and that's why I ultimately chose it. Mizzou fits me very well."

Broke the state of Missouri record for single-season batting average (.738) … Produced 62 hits along with 32 stolen bases en route to CLAA Player of the Year honors … Also recorded All-State, All-Region, All-District and All-Conference accolades over first-year campaign ... Followed up with .688 average, 66 hits, 11 doubles and 56 RBIs in sophomore season … Pivotal role into Norborne High School's first-ever stat title … Named CLAA Player of the Year once again in sophomore and senior seasons … Finished with most career triples (33), hits per game (2.70) and runs scored (180) in Missouri state history … Received high interest across the country, but first and only collegiate choice was Mizzou.

Over four-year career at Spaulding High School, hit .460 with 92 hits, 56 runs scored, 66 RBIs, .505 on-base percentage, .695 slugging percentage and 1.199 OPS … Produced even more impressive numbers with Lady Mavericks club team, hitting .566 with 351 hits, 221 runs scored, 40 home runs, 288 RBIs and 1.652 OPS over four-year run … In 2017, competed with Puerto Rican Junior National Team, hitting .344 with eight runs scored and three RBIs over 29 at bats … While receiving interest from other programs across the country, Mizzou was her top choice from the start.
"I chose Mizzou because it has always been my dream school. Having been born in Missouri then moving away, I knew I always wanted to come back home for college. It provides the best athletic and academic opportunities for me."
