@MizzouSwimDive Conclues Day One at Tennessee Diving Invite

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Mizzou diving programs notched three top 11 finishes to kick off day one action at the Tennessee Diving Invite on Tuesday. Redshirt senior Lauren Reedy (Rochester Hills, Michigan) led the way for the Tigers with a third-place finish on women's 3-meter springboard.
Reedy scored 319.25 points in 3-meter finals to take third after she tallied a prelims score of 355.05, a score that was less than a point away from her school record. She finsihed prelims with four consecutive dives of at least 60 points, including a 69.75 on her final dive.
Juniors Madeline McKernan (Montgomery, Texas) and Kendra Kieser (Plano, Texas) also qualified for women's 3-meter finals and earned finishes of 10th and 11th, respectively. McKernan scored 264.35 points in finals after a prelims total of 283.20, while Kieser tallied 246.10 points in finals and 282.25 in prelims.
Day two action at the Invite continues on Wednesday, Jan. 4 with women's 1-meter and men's 3-meter springboards. Prelims action will begin at 10:30 a.m. CT with finals to follow.
