COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Athletics is excited to announce a statewide outreach program that will allow Mizzou coaches and administrators to connect with the passionate fan base throughout the state of Missouri. Director of Athletics Jim Sterk, head football coach Barry Odom, men's basketball coach Cuonzo Martin and women's basketball coach Robin Pingeton are slated to make four stops across the state during the month of May. The caravans are hosted by Mizzou's Tiger Scholarship Fund.
Below is a look at the scheduled caravan stops for Mizzou Athletics during the month of May:
- Springfield, Mo. – May 5 – 6 p.m. - Hammons Field for Mizzou Night with the Springfield Cardinals
- Who: Jim Sterk, Barry Odom and Cuonzo Martin
- What: Pregame Mizzou pep rally, first pitches from Odom and Martin
- Mendon, Mo. – May 17 – 6 p.m. – Northwestern High School
- Who: Jim Sterk, Barry Odom, Robin Pingeton, tentatively Cuonzo Martin
- What: Plated dinner program with a tasty pork chop
- Kansas City, Mo. – May 18 – 6 p.m. - Rooftop at Chicken N Pickle
- Who: Jim Sterk, Barry Odom, Cuonzo Martin
- What: Relaxed reception and program with coaches
- St. Louis, Mo. – May 19 – 6 p.m. - Mainstage at Ballpark Village
- Who: Jim Sterk, Barry Odom, Cuonzo Martin and Robin Pingeton
- What: Mainstage show at Ballpark Village prior to the St. Louis Cardinals game vs. the San Francisco Giants
