COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou soccer Head Soccer Coach Bryan Blitz has announced the addition of goalkeeper Peyton Bauman (Flower Mound, Texas) and midfielder Zoë Cross (Pease Pottage, England) to the Tigers as January enrollees. Both Bauman and Cross are enrolled at the University of Missouri, attending classes this semester and will participate in Mizzou's spring season.

"Peyton is someone with Mizzou roots so we knew early on about her ability from her attending our camps," Blitz said. "She also plays for a great club in Texas, Solar Chelsea. She has the talent and ability we look for in a goalkeeper to be successful in the SEC."
Bauman, who hails from Flower Mound, Texas, earned All-State second team honors as a junior after helping Edward S. Marcus High School to a 24-0-4 record. She notched 12 shutouts in net and boasted an 0.32 goals against average in 2016. On the club level, Bauman helped Solar Chelsea ECNL to two Texas State Cup Championships and three ECNL Texas Conference titles. She earned a spot on TopDrawerSoccer.com's Best XI from the 2015 ECNL National Playoffs and made the 2016 National Elite Prep Showcase All-Tournament Team.

"What impressed us about Zoë was her blue collar work ethic, which fits in well here at Mizzou," Blitz said. "She also has a lot of international experience with the England national teams and her time at Chelsea."
A midfielder, Cross comes to Mizzou from England, where she played for Chelsea Ladies FC. With Chelsea, she helped the U-17 squad to the Gothia B Cup Championship in Sweden. Internationally, Cross has 24 caps for England as a member of the U-19 and U-17 national teams. She tallied her first international goal against Spain in the UEFA European Women's U-17 Championship and helped the U-19 side to an international tournament victory.
