TIGER TIDBITS
- Tennessee leads the all-time series 2-1-1 and is a perfect 2-0-0 in Knoxville. However, Mizzou won last year's meeting, 3-1.
- Missouri and Weber State have never met.
- The Tigers rolled to a 5-0 road win at Ole Miss on Sept. 9 in the conference opener for both teams.
- Mizzou's five goals were the most-ever by the Tigers in an SEC game and the most for the team since a 5-1 win over Pacific on Aug. 23, 2013.
- Freshman forward Sarah Luebbert tallied a goal and an assist against the Rebels to garner SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the second time this season. She also claimed the award on Aug. 29.
- Luebbert leads the Tigers with 13 points on five goals and three assists. She needs only one more point and one more goal to enter Mizzou's freshmen top-10 list for both categories.
- Luebbert's 13 points in the first seven matches of the season are the most for a Tiger since Ashley Hamblin had 15 (five goals, five assists) over the first seven games of 2006.
- Missouri has spread its offense around as five different Tigers found the back of the net against Ole Miss on Sept. 9, one week after four Tigers scored against San Francisco on Sept. 2. Overall, 11 different players have scored in 2016.
- The Tiger defense has tightened up the last two games, allowing only 0.50 goals per game in that span.Mizzou posted its first shutout of the season against Ole Miss.
- Mizzou's win over Central Arkansas marked the first time the squad cameback from a 2-0 deficit since a 3-2 win over Kansas on Oct. 21, 2011. In that contest, the Tigers scored two goals in the 85th and one goal in the 89th minute to record the win.
- Three Tigers earned spots on the 2016 SEC Watch List: junior midfielder Kaitlyn Clark, senior midfielder Melanie Donaldson and senior defender Jasmine Johnson. Donaldson claimed postseason honors from the SEC a season ago, when she was tabbed to the second team.
- The Tigers were picked to finish sixth in the SEC Preseason Coaches' Poll, released on Aug. 11. Missouri was also selected sixth a year ago before finishing second in the league standings.
- The Tigers return eight starters from the 2015 squad that finished second in the Southeastern Conference regular season standings with a 7-2-2 conference mark. Mizzou went 9-5-5 overall on the season.
