In just their first season, Wayne and Susan guided the Tigers to 24 wins and an NCAA Tournament bid. Susan was tabbed the 2000 Big 12 Coach of the Year for her outstanding first year in Mid-Missouri. The Kreklows led Mizzou to eight consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances from 2000-07, including a trip to the Elite Eight in 2005.
The Tigers earned their second Sweet 16 appearance in 2010, followed by NCAA Tournament bid number nine in 2011. Now as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), Wayne and Susan enjoyed a season to remember in 2013 as Mizzou went a perfect 34-0 during the regular season and claimed the program's first ever conference championship.
The incredible 2013 campaign earned Wayne SEC Coach of the Year honors while former Mizzou First Team All-American and current member of the U.S. National Team, Molly Kreklow, garnered SEC Player of the Year recognition. A program-record four AVCA All-Americans resulted from the 2013 season as Molly Kreklow, Lisa Henning, Whitney Little and Carly Kan formed one of the most talented teams in the country.
Overall with Mizzou Volleyball, the Kreklows possess an outstanding 340-168 (.669) career record in 16 seasons with 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, 14 winning seasons and nine 20-plus win campaigns.
Also under Wayne and Susan's tutelage, Tiger fans have witnessed 16 AVCA All-Americans, eight Player/Freshman/Newcomer/Defensive/Libero of the Year honorees, 39 All-Conference selections, 73 Academic All-Conference recognitions and three AVCA Team Academic Award selections.
