Amanda Kim to Represent @MUWomensGolf at US Women’s Amateur

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Sophomore Amanda Kim (O'Fallon, Mo.) will represent Mizzou Women's Golf at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship this week at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Pa. The event begins Monday (Aug. 1) and will run through Sunday (Aug. 7). Kim qualified for the event after shooting a 76 at Lawrence Country Club in last month's qualifier.

The event begins Monday (Aug. 1) and will run through Sunday (Aug. 7). Kim qualified for the event after shooting a 76 at Lawrence Country Club in last month's qualifier.

Kim will play Rolling Green, a 6,259-yard course which plays to a 36-35-71 par. Legendary golf course architect William Flynn designed Rolling Green, a classic, parkland-style course that opened in 1926. The starting field will consist of 156 players who will play 18-hole rounds of stroke play on Aug. 1-2. The field will be cut to the 64 players for match play. Six 18-hole rounds of match play will determine the champion.
