  • Sophomore LHP Paige Lowary started her fifth straight game for Mizzou, the longest stretch of her career.
  • Lowary has not allowed a run in 35 of her last 36 innings pitched.
  • Lowary pitched all 16.0 innings giving up seven hits and no runs this regional. She struck out 13 and walked four.
  • Mizzou did not allow a run in any of their three regional games for the first time in program history.
  • Mizzou won all three regional games via the run rule for the first time in program history.
  • Mizzou outscored opponents 26-0 in regional play.
  • Mizzou has now scored 383 runs this season, second most in program history.
  • Eight of nine Mizzou starters reached base safely.
  • Senior OF Taylor Gadbois stole second base in the top of the first inning. She has 54 stolen bases this season on 59 attempts (91.5 percent).
  • Gadbois extended her on-base streak to five games with a first inning single.
  • Senior OF Emily Crane stole second base in the top of the first inning. She has 25 stolen bases this season on 28 attempts (89.3 percent).
  • Crane extended her on-base streak to five games with a first inning single.
  • Senior SS Sami Fagan hit a two-RBI double in the top of the first inning. RBI number 52 and 53 this year.
  • Fagan extended her on-base streak to five games with her first inning double.
  • Fagan drove in another with a single in the top of the fourth inning. She now has 190 career RBI and 54 this season.
  • Crane and Gadbois scored on the Fagan double. Crane now has 63 runs scored this year, one away from tying the program record for runs in a single season.
  • Fagan stole home for the third time this year in the top of the first. She now has 26 stolen bases this year on 29 attempts (89.6 percent).
  • Freshman OF Regan Nash stole second base in the top of the first inning.
  • Junior C Kirsten Mack hit a three run home run to left field in the top of the first, her fourth home run of the season. She now has 22 RBI this year and 85 over her career.
  • Mack now has 12 RBI and three home runs in her 12 NCAA tournament appearances.
  • Gadbois singled again in the top of the first for her team leading 22nd multi-hit game of the season.
  • Mizzou went 3-4 with three RBI with two outs in its six run first inning.
  • Sophomore 3B Amanda Sanchez hit her seventh double of the season in the top of the second inning. She has hit safely in each of the three regional games she has appeared in this season.
  • Sanchez extended her on-base streak to eight games with her second inning double.
  • Sanchez is now hitting .555 with an one base percentage of .692 in her eight career NCAA tournament appearances. She has one home run and 10 RBI with a slugging percentage of .833.
  • Mack singled in the top of the third inning for her fifth multi-hit game of the season.
  • Sanchez drove in Fagan with a sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth. Sanchez now has six RBI this regional, tied for the team lead with Crane.
  • Sanchez finished the regional going 3-4 with a home run and a double. She had six RBI and four walks.
  • Crane finished the regional going 5-7 with a home run and six RBI. She walked twice and scored six runs, the most on the team.
  • Crane is now hitting .464 with 15 runs and nine RBI in her 18 game NCAA tournament career.

Nebraska Game Notes:

  • Sophomore C Madi Unzicker threw out Mizzou freshman pinch runner Raime Cohen in the top of the third inning. Unzicker has thrown out three of seven Mizzou baserunners this regional.
