Mizzou Game Notes:
- Sophomore LHP Paige Lowary made her fourth career NCAA tournament start and second of this year. She is 2-0 this year with a ERA of zero in her two starts.
- Lowary has not allowed a run in 30 of her last 31 innings pitched.
- Mizzou is now 23-4 in regional games played in Columbia, Mo.
- Senior OF Emily Crane extended her on-base streak to four games with a walk in the bottom of the first.
- Sophomore 3B Amanda Sanchez extended her on-base streak to seven games with a walk in the bottom of the second.
- Freshman OF Regan Nash stole her 20th base of the season in 22 attempts in the bottom of the third inning.
- Mizzou now has four players with at least 20 stolen bases this year. (Nash, Gadbois, Fagan and Crane)
- Senior SS Sami Fagan extended her on-base streak to four games with a single in the bottom of the fourth.
- Fagan scored on an error in the bottom of the fourth for her 201st career run scored and 56th of the season. Her 201 runs are second most in program history behind Rhea Taylor (234).
- Fagan's 56 runs scored this year are the eighth most runs scored in a single season in program history.
- Junior dp Chloe Rathburn stole her fifth base of the season in six attempts in the bottom of the fourth.
- Freshman 2B Kolby Romaine got her 12th RBI of the season on a sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the fourth inning. Sanchez scored her 25th run of the season on the play.
- Mizzou scored 8 runs today to push their season total to 374, the third most runs in a single season in program history.
- Nash singled in the bottom of the fifth inning for her 13th multi-hit game of the season.
- Nash stole her 21st base of the season in the bottom of the fifth, her third multi-stolen base game of the season.
- Crane hit a 2-RBI single in the bottom of the fifth inning, giving her 58 RBI this season, tied for the team lead with Rathburn.
- Crane stole second base in the bottom of the fifth inning for her 24th stolen base of the season on 26 attempts.
- Crane ended the game with a three run home run in the bottom of the sixth to win the game by run rule.
- The home run was Crane's team leading 17th of the year, tied for second most in a single season in program history with Micaela Minner (2005).
- Today was Crane's 21st multi-hit game of the season, tied for the team lead. She has 74 multi-hit games in her career, the most on the team.
- Today was Crane's fourth game with at least five RBI and her 16th multi-RBI game of the season.
- Crane is now hitting .463 with 13 runs, 11 RBI and one home run with seven stolen bases on nine attempts over her 17 career NCAA tournament games.
Nebraska Game Notes:
- First career start at third base for freshman Bri Cassidy.
- Nebraska is now 61-51 all-time in the NCAA tournament.
- Sophomore 2B Laura Barrow extended her on-base streak to 11 games with a walk in the top of the first inning. Barrow has now reached base safely in 13 of her last 14 games.
- Barrow led Nebraska with six putouts without committing an error.
- Sophomore C Madi Unzicker threw out two Mizzou runners attempting to steal. Mizzou had only been caught stealing 15 times on 169 attempts coming into the game today.
- Sophomore RHP Kaylan Jablonski made her second career NCAA Tournament appearance in the bottom of the fifth inning.
