COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Women's Basketball will hold its annual postseason banquet on Wednesday, April 13 at Mizzou Arena. The event is open to the public at the cost of $15 per person and will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Appetizers will be provided. The Tigers will celebrate a historic season that was the first 22-win campaign for the program since 2001 and only the second 22-win season in the last 32 years. Mizzou recorded its first NCAA Tournament victory since 2001 and advanced to the big dance for the first time in a decade. Guard Sophie Cunningham (Columbia, Mo.) was named SEC Freshman of the Year by the league's head coaches and Associated Press in addition to being named second-team All-SEC and a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team. Junior forward Jordan Frericks (Quincy, Ill.) was named second-team All-SEC by the league's coaches for the second consecutive year while freshman forward Cierra Porter (Columbia, Mo.) also earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team.
