Mizzou-Florida Game Three Postgame Notes

GAME NOTES
With the win, Mizzou moves to 22-11 with an 8-4 mark in conference play. With Sunday's win, the Tigers took the series from No. 4 Florida. This marks Mizzou's second series win against a top-10 opponent this season and first over a top-five team since 2008.
Brett Peel singled in the third inning to bring his reached-base-safely streak to 30 games. He is just two games away from tying a Mizzou all-time record.
Alex Del Rio singled up the middle in the bottom of the fifth inning to record his first career hit. Zach Lavy was driven home from second base on the hit, also giving Del Rio his first career RBI.
Peel also beat out an infield single in the bottom of the fifth inning to score Del Rio, marking the first run scored in Del Rio's career. With that hit, Peel recorded two hits on the day - giving him eight multi-hit games this year.
Zach Lavy recorded two hits on the day, giving him back-to-back days with multi-hit games, and it also marks Lavy's sixth multi-hit game this season.
Ryan Howard hit a three-run bomb in the bottom of the fifth inning for his second homerun of the season. His homerun drove in his 21st, 22nd and 23rd runs of the season. Howard trails Josh Lester for the team-lead in RBI total by just one.
Pete Fairbanks pitched five innings of one-run baseball, while striking out six batters. Fairbanks has allowed three earned runs or fewer in all eight of his starts this season.
Andrew Schwaab pitched two scoreless innings of relief. In those two innings, he recorded four strikeouts - which is his career high in one outing.
Case Munson recorded two hits on the day to give him his first multi-hit game of the 2015 season.
Over the course of the series, Mizzou allowed 20 hits to Florida. That is the fewest hits that Florida has recorded in a three-game series this year.
Mizzou is now 7-2 against the SEC East - a division that boasts four ranked teams.
The Tigers have moved to 11-1 when recording 0 errors. Mizzou ranks second in the SEC in fielding percentage.
Mizzou moves to an incredible 17-5 in day games this year.
The Tigers are also 10-1 when they hit at least one homerun on the day.
