Tigers Close Out Spring Home Schedule This Weekend

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou tennis concludes their Spring 2015 home schedule this weekend at Mizzou Tennis Complex (MTC) against a pair of ranked SEC opponents. The Tigers welcome No. 11 Texas A&M on Friday, April 3 and No. 25 LSU on Sunday, April 5.
First serve this weekend is scheduled for 5 p.m. (CT) and 12 p.m. (CT), respectively. Fans can follow the action on Twitter (@MizzouTennis) and by logging on to MUTigers.com for live scoring updates.
On Friday evening, Mizzou tennis "Slams Breast Cancer" as the program seeks to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to Mizzou Tennis Complex.
Breast cancer survivors in attendance Friday evening will be honored on-court, and the entire match will be dedicated to senior Alex Clark's mother, Ali, who passed away after a long fight with breast cancer in 2013.
Sunday afternoon brings Senior Day to MTC, as the team honors this year's lone senior, Alex Clark. Other exciting promotions set for this Sunday include free pizza available to the first 100 fans, and a Truman Club Easter Egg Hunt prior to first serve.
Children 12-and-under are invited to take part in the pre-match Easter Egg Hunt around the MTC. For further information or to RSVP for the event, contact John Fernandez (fernandezjv@missouri.edu).
Mizzou hits the road next weekend for the final time this season with visits to No. 42 Auburn and No. 12 Alabama. The Tigers and Auburn are scheduled for a 2 p.m. (CT) start on Friday, April 10, while first serve at Alabama on Sunday, April 12 is set for 1 p.m. (CT).
