Golden Girls Tryout Information

Dear Prospective Dancer:
Thank you for your interest in the University of Missouri Golden Girls. For information regarding 2015-16 auditions, please visit our 2015-16 Tryout Information page.
Due to the high volume of e-mails and requests for personal visits I have established pre-tryout workshops consisting of a question and answer session at the end of each workshop. At that time we will discuss the tryout procedure and attire, practice and time commitment, competition, and anything else you need to know regarding the Golden Girls and the University of Missouri.
There is a $30.00 fee for each session. Please visit abcsportscamps.com/goldengirls for more information. Workshops last approximately three hours and are designed to inform you about the tryout process and the Golden Girls. You are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible to better prepare you for auditions. Clinics are open to participants only! Spectators are not allowed.
The Golden Girls rehearse three times a week and travel to at least three away football games. They attend all home football and basketball games. All choreography will be taught during tryouts so it's impossible to narrow down any specific skill(s) to work on. You will however be given an idea of what you can expect at the workshops. In the meantime, practice straight-arm pom, all technical skills including leaps and turns, and work on your flexibility.
