COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou baseball dropped an 8-3 decision to Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday afternoon (March 24) at Taylor Stadium. The loss drops the Tigers to 18-7 on the season while UAPB moves to 10-9 on the year. The Lions scored one run in the seventh, two in the eighth and three in the ninth and homered twice off of Tiger pitching to put the game out of reach.

Three different Tigers - Brett Peel (St. Charles, Mo.), Jake Ring (Ingleside, Ill.) and Josh Lester (Columbus, Ga.) - finished with two hits in the game. Sophomore Jack Klages (St. Louis, Mo.) also added an RBI double in the fourth to extend his hitting streak to six consecutive games. He has also reached base in all nine games that he has played this season.

Junior lefty Austin Tribby (Springfield, Mo.) was charged with his second loss of the season, allowing five runs (only three earned) over 2.0 innings. UAPB's Billy Olson picked up the win, allowing just one hit and one run over 1.2 innings.
