OFFENSE
- Redshirt freshman WR Keyon Dilosa hauled in a new career long reception of 21 yards on a pass from freshman QB Drew Lock.
- Senior WR Wesley Leftwich pulled in a new career long reception of 44 yards on a pass from Lock during third quarter action.
- With a two quick pass completions from Lock in the fourth quarter, freshman WR Cam Hilton surpassed his career high in receiving yards in a single game with 41 yards gained.
- Lock scored the first rushing TD of his career on a 1-yard rush at 9:49 in the fourth quarter.
- Senior C Evan Boehm made his 51st consecutive start vs. Tennessee, setting a new Mizzou school record for consecutive starts. He entered the game tied with CB Carl Gettis' 50-straight starts (2007-10).
- Sophomore TE Jason Reese grabbed a pass from Lock over the middle for Mizzou's first two-point conversion of the season with 9:49 left in the game. It was the first successful two-point try for Mizzou since last season's Arkansas win (Nov. 28, 2014).
DEFENSE
- Junior LB Michael Scherer stuffed a Tennessee run on 3rd-and-3 on the Volunteers' first possession of the game for a 1-yard loss, bringing his tackles-for-loss total to 7.0 for the season, which doubled his sophomore season total of 3.5.
- Scherer finished the game with 2.5 tackles-for-loss among his 10 tackles.
- Senior LB Kentrell Brothers recorded another game with 10+ tackles, bringing his streak to six consecutive games. Brothers finished the game with 12 tackles to bring his nation-leading total to 140.
- Junior LB Donavin Newsom matched his career-high in tackles with eight stops. He previously hit that total at Georgia (Oct. 17) earlier this season.
- Junior CB Aarion Penton set a new career-best with 2.0 tackles-for-loss in the game. Penton had previously recorded 1.0 TFL on four different occasions.
- Junior DT Rickey Hatley matched his career-high in tackles with his five stops. He also had five tackles vs. Florida (Oct. 10) earlier this season.
MISC.
- Saturday's game was the final home game for head coach Gary Pinkel, who announced that he would resign following the 2015 season due to health concerns. He finished his career with a 67-27 (.713) record at Faurot Field.
- The game time temperature of 28 degrees was the coldest in Mizzou history during the Garry Pinkel era.
